    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


    • 5+ years of directly related industry experience in the field of construction or engineering


    • Candidate must have utilities industry experience


    • Experience managing a full lifecycle project from design to construction through to completion


    • Experience interacting with customers in the course of developing a design and then coordinating construction impacts with those customers once design goes to construction.

    Education:


    • Bachelors degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education

    • Ability to coordinate the resolution of technical problems and implement changes.


    • Experience managing construction projects involving technical engineering

    Responsibilities include:


    • Provide engineering support in electric distribution operations, maintenance and construction


    • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, research and design.


    • Coordinate with developers and customers to evaluate requests for new electric service and develop electric distribution designs to install electric infrastructure to provide customers with power.


    • Coordinate the procurement of all material to construct projects.


    • Evaluate designs for permit needs and apply for and manage permit process throughout project lifecycle.


    • Interface with construction resources to coordinate construction scheduling


    • Manage projects throughout construction and serve as a resource for construction crews as questions arise.


    • Perform engineering as-built once construction is complete. Update drawings and associated applications to ensure accurate modeling of the electric distributions system.


    • Post material used during the course of construction and manage inventory quantities.
