    NCG Associates is a reputable healthcare staffing agency dedicated to providing exceptional nursing professionals to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Med Surg Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team.

    As a Med Surg Registered Nurse at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care in a medical-surgical unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic treatment. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

    Requirements

    • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg nursing experience
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
    • Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice
    • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
    • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred

    Shift times and shift length:

    Weekend requirement: Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

    On-call requirement: None

    Holiday requirement: Required

    Any Travel Required (between more than 1 location): None

    Desired Start Date: ASAP

    Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: Based on experience

    Shift/Weekend/On-call differentials: Evening : $3.50 Night : $5.00

    Weekend 1500 Friday-0659 Monday: $2.25

Average Census 10 Beds per unit: 2N:? 26, 2E:? 26, 2S:? 18 Tech or equipment used on the unit: Alaris Infusion Pumps, Alaris PCAs, Stryker Beds, Umano Beds, GE Wireless Telemetry, Masimo Roots with Patient Safety Net

    Required Qualifications: BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience

    Preferred Qualifications: BSN

    License Required: KS RN

    Certificated Required: ACLS required
