Job Summary
The Patient Transporter is responsible for safely moving patients throughout the facility including to and from diagnostic testing treatment areas and discharge locations Ensures patient comfort safety and confidentiality during transport while maintaining effective communication with healthcare teams to facilitate patient care.- Transports patients safely between departments maintaining patient comfort and dignity throughout the process.
- Assists patients in and out of wheelchairs stretchers or beds ensuring proper lifting techniques and use of equipment to prevent injury.
