This entry-level position is responsible for supporting technical, legal, and customer support duties related to the establishment modification and enforcement of court orders within the Child Support Unit The role involves learning to navigate state and county computer systems to manage child support cases and assist clients with a range of services- Reviews child support applications and public assistance referrals to gather essential information for new cases Monitor application timelines to meet state and federal requirements Create case files input court order details into databases generate initial paperwork Provide information on child support services and assist clients with the application process
- Gathers necessary information prepares documents Assist in setting court hearings notifies parties updating case information Provides support to the County Attorney during court proceedings Initiates cases to other states' child support agencies when necessary
- Reviews assesses requests for modifications based on caseneed Collects relevant financial information assists in preparing documents Coordination hearings notifies involved parties updates database records Researches case details tracks automated enforcement measures Prepares legal documents initiates out-of-state cases as needed ensures timely follow-up Manages basic ledgers enters initial payment info ensures database accuracy Reviews allocates identified payments Performs locate activity resolves pending disbursements Supports legal processing handles routine judicial administrative duties Using strong organizational skills follows detailed timelines ensures compliance Completes training attends meetings professional events assigned Covers additional caseloads Crosstrains in other functions as needed Performs other duties assigned
