    Summary:


    Whisker is looking for a Subscription Marketing Lead, to work in this new position to manage and mature our subscription marketing program.

    This is a strategic and hands-on role, reporting to the head of CRM & Subscription Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong digital marketing background with experience in subscription and retention program marketing.

    In this role, you will partner closely with team leads across the company to launch new subscription promotions, A/B tests, and initiatives to increase subscription growth and reduce churn.

    You will own end to end subscription marketing and management, and over time, will likely grow a team to support the program's success.


    What You'll Do:

    Develops a strategic roadmap and timeline for Whisker's subscription program and executes the work needed to launch new initiatives successfully
    Defines segmentation of the customer journey, identifies subscription value propositions, and drives customer lifetime value
    Writes project briefs giving clear and concise directions to the marketing, design, site merch, and web development teams for new subscription program initiatives
    Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and optimize a subscription program that aligns with company goals
    Identifies testing opportunities to improve subscription growth and churn reduction
    Supports new recommendations for the subscription program via data and or industry trends
    Delivers monthly reporting metrics for the subscription programs to present to marketing & leadership
    Monitors program performance, analyzes report data, and generates in-depth insights to inform strategy enhancements
    Manages subscriber audience strategies for personalized communications and ensures consistent messaging across all marketing touchpoints
    Maintains a strong understanding of industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for program innovation
    Partners closely with CRM Manager, to plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and communications to drive program enrollment, engagement, and customer satisfaction
    Assists Customer Support with addressing customer issues related to the subscription program
    Will perform additional responsibilities when required


    What You'll Bring:
    BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
    3-5+ years of experience in a customer subscriptions (DTC experience preferred)
    Experience in using subscription management software such as OrderGroove, Chargebee, or Recharge
    Experience in using Google Analytics, CRM software, and marketing automation platforms
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
    Passion for customer-centric marketing with a strong understanding of customer behavior
    Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative marketing campaigns
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions
    Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities
    Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
