    Description

    Housekeeping Assistant/ Housekeeping Aide Benefits Available:

    Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant/ Housekeeping Aide

    Purpose of the Housekeeping Assistant/ Housekeeping Aide:

    The purpose of this position is to implement facility housekeeping procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

    Housekeeping Assistant/ Housekeeping Aide Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Implement housekeeping procedures to meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements

    · Participate in the monitoring system for the housekeeping department

    · Notify supervisor when supplies are needed

    · Notify supervisor when equipment in need of repair

    · notify supervisor when areas of the facility are in need of repair

    · Follow oral and written instructions

    · Follow material safety data sheets (MDS)

    · Operate Housekeeping equipment safely

    · Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy

    · Observe waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy; follow directions

    · Assist in proper care of housekeeping equipment

    Housekeeping Assistant/ Housekeeping Aide Qualifications:

    • Minimum education level of 10th grade
    • Housekeeping experience preferred
