Job DescriptionThe VDP Specialist is responsible for analysis, program design, coding and testing of format program according to customer submitted specifications.

This position works directly with other team members to ensure quality control standards are being followed and customer objectives are met.

High standards of quality control procedures must be strictly adhered to. An Associate Degree in Computer Science or Imaging Technology or the equivalent in education and/or work experience desired. Experience programming with Quadient's Inspire Designer is preferred. High communication skills both written and oral. Problem-solving skills are essential to this position. Responsible for developing and coding program logic, making decisions on fonts/image placement, and utilization of programmed logic. Self-motivation and strong organizational skills are required.

Decisions need to be made to ensure customer requirements are met and to plan, set up, and communicate with related departments while handling order-specific questions.

QualificationsExcellent understanding of design and typography and the process of creating a publication through all its phases from concept through printingVery good experience in Macintosh desktop publishing (including such software such as QuarkXpress, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator) is requiredDemonstrated talent as a designer, including an understanding of the need to balance function and visual appearance to achieve successful communicationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills are requiredRequires knowledge of complex, multi-faceted design techniquesExcellent knowledge of printing techniques and knowledge of production issuesAble to understand and compile cost estimates for creative projectsFor full info follow application link.
