Job Duties and Functions:• Contribute to planning, schedule and coordinate release plans from transport, marketing, and flow teams, providing efficient and expedient scheduling across multiple farms for the transport of swine
• Provide notification to specific stakeholders of schedules, details, changes, and service interruptions for live haul movements.
• Facilitate timely animal movements by preparing and filing regulatory documentation and permits including Health Certificates and Interstate Agreements.
• Participate after hours support for Supply Management and Logistics Emergency Hotline.
• Identify and escalate imbalanced supply chain conditions, issues to in-process activities, and constraints.
• Compile, enter, distribute, and validate data for reporting and key decision making.
• Monitor regulatory site inspections, in collaboration with veterinarians, ensuring compliance to internal policy and USDA regulatory policy.
• Ownership of validating weekly carrier invoices for payment, maintaining strict deadlines.
• Provide customer service support for processing plants, live animal buyers; production operations, veterinarians, animal care, and transport carriers.
• Complete additional projects and assignments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associates Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
Experience
One year of related experience in data entry and Logistics preferred. Livestock and/or agriculture experience preferred.
