Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15), every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide critical care to patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures and delivering respiratory care for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments including intubation, extubation, and nebulization.
• Provide tracheostomy care and management, and handle suctioning procedures.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and weaning from ventilation as per protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current New York State License required upon submission.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS.
• Travel experience is preferred.
