- Provide strategic support and counsel to department leadership in personnel management, talent development, and organizational planning contexts and initiatives.
- Offer day-to-day performance management guidance to departmental leaders.
- Build rapport and credibility with department leaders through regular meetings.
- Lead and facilitate local delivery of HR solutions to departments.
- Act as the primary HR leader, advisor, and liaison for designated departments.

- Maintain a strong business literacy level relevant to the assigned department.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in resolving complex employee relations situations.
- Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend and apply relevant laws and guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment to solve problems.
- Required to travel to local and campus locations.

HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in providing strategic support and guidance to departmental leadership, acting as the main HR leader and liaison for designated departments.
The HRBP focuses on building strong relationships with department leaders, analyzing talent trends, and developing and implementing HR solutions tailored to departmental talent needs. They also provide essential HR policy and employment law guidance, advocate for department needs, and offer day-to-day performance management guidance to departmental leaders.
Additionally, the HRBP conducts various HR and talent trainings, all while maintaining a high business literacy level relevant to the areas they support. The ideal candidate for this position should be emotionally intelligent, self-motivated, possess advanced strategic thinking skills, and have a deep understanding of HR policy and employment law.
