    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a Radiology Diagnostic unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency in OB, Breast, Vascular, and Prostate ultrasound with ARRT and ARDMS certification.

    Responsibilities
    Radiology Diagnostic unit in a hospital setting
    Proficiency required in OB, Breast, Vascular, Prostate, OR ultrasound guidance, and routine exams including abdomen and pelvis
    Equipment includes GE Logiq E9 and GE Logiq E10 ultrasound systems
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (A shift)
    Schedule follows a 36/48-hour weekly rotation, alternating between 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
    On-call rotation shared with other staff Ultrasound Technologists; call frequency varies based on regular staffing levels
    Perform a wide range of sonography exams including OB, Breast, Vascular, Prostate, OR ultrasound guidance, and general routine studies (abdomen, pelvis, etc.)
    Ideal candidate demonstrates a positive attitude, strong patient interaction skills, and a team-oriented, flexible approach to adapting to facility and provider preferences
    Local candidates are not accepted for this position

    Requirements
    Minimum of 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience
    ARRT and ARDMS certification required
    BLS certification required (AHA only; front and back of card required if not electronic)
    Active Kentucky or compact license valid for Kentucky facilities
    Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Driver's license required for consideration
    2 professional references required for consideration
    License required if applicable
