Description
Position DetailsThis is a full time position for an Ultrasonographer. The hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 9pm-6:30am.
Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, Chairman, Manager, or Chief, the Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound imaging procedures and related techniques resulting in the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
Education
Graduate of, or within six months of graduation, a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) with the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Registration required:
Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (US) or registry eligible OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (S) or eligible.
Certification required:
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association.
Licensure required:
Licensed and Certified by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
Certification required to obtain:
ARDMS required within 2 years of hire.
Experience
None required.
