Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team for a Hybrid Role.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $95,000 per year.


Job responsibilities:
Prepare month-end journal entries and financial reports.
Analyze monthly product line performance to plan.
Preparation of annual budgets, and periodic forecasts.
Assess adequacy of reserves for both inventory, and warranty.
Review inventory transactions before posting to the general ledger.
Administration of product group, part class, and general ledger posting control tables.
Prepare inventory capitalization schedules.
Answer operations personnel questions on how to properly handle transactions within ERP system.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, or equivalent combination of education and training.
3-5 years work experience in a manufacturing company and 3-5 years cost accounting experience.
Familiarity with Epicor software and creation of report queries preferred, but not required.
System integration experience a plus.
Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
