    Pilot, Subject Matter Expert, V-22

    San Diego, CA StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a full time Pilot Subject Matter Expert (SME) in San Diego, CA.

    The Pilot Subject Matter Expert (SME) will serve as a CV/MV/CMV-22 Pilot SME for the V-22 training requirements analysis and courseware development program.

    The SME must be able to interpret technical documentation and work in conjunction with instructional systems designers, 3D modelers, and multi-media specialists to develop accurate and effective computer-based training in a fully immersed 3D game-based environment.

    The SME will execute effective daily communication with all team members to support fast paced, high performing tasking requirements.

    The SME will support platform specific training at all levels of development and will be responsible for presenting the product functions and deliverables to civilian and military officials.


    Essential Job Duties:

    • Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and verify government furnished technical information and ensure it is handled, marked, and delivered IAW the requirements applicable to the classification level.
    • Must possess extensive knowledge of applicable aircraft systems to include operational performance capabilities and a complete understanding of security classification and mission sensitivity issues.
    • Must possess Night Systems Instructor (NSI) or higher pilot qualifications in the CV-22 or MV-22 Osprey as an aircraft commander and be able to furnish supporting documentation. USMC Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) or Air Force equivalent certification preferred.
    • Experience in Aircrew scheduling, Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) and Pilot Training Officer (PTO) experience is highly valued.
    • Must be thoroughly familiar with all CV/MV/CMV-22 operational requirements; Training and Readiness (T&R) requirements aircraft capabilities; and limitations, to assist with the conduct of training, as it pertains to updating and developing training scenarios.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Must have approx. four (4) or more years of current experience in the operation of applicable aircraft systems.
    • Must have demonstrated pilot experience in the CV-22 or MV-22 community with a minimum of 500 hours of V-22 flight time.

    • Assault Flight Lead
    • Air Mission Commander

    Education Requirements:

    • High School Diploma

    Security Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizenship required
