    Role SummaryThe Sr.

    Project Engineer has overall accountability for leading cross-functional teams in the design, certification, integration, and delivery of Anuvus Airconnect connectivity solution.

    The projects managed by the Sr. Project Engineer represent strategic imperatives that have significant impact on the business and have direct visibility to senior management.
    In addition, as a member of a growing business, the Sr.

    Project Engineer will play a significant role in defining and implementing delivery processes to support the rapidly changing technology and business needs of Anuvu and its customers.

    HybridWhat Youll Be DoingEvaluate project requests from product management, program management, customer and commercial team to develop scope, cost, and schedule that meets customer expectationsManage changes to the projects; ensuring a shared understanding and common expectation of deliverables, timing, and costIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks before they impact projectsManage the product development lifecycle for new hardware and software integration, aircraft engineering and certification, and backoffice services deployment.

    Validate design to statement of work throughout the projectFacilitate external design review process with customers and partners; ensuring alignment with statement of work and project objectives.

    Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking costs, and analyzing/managing variances to planManage relationships with the stakeholders (internal and external), including the communication, information sharing, and expectations managementSynthesize clear, concise, and actionable program communications that are appropriate for the project team, stakeholders, and senior managementIdentify opportunities for process and tool improvements; lead and participate in the improvement projects as appropriateFoster a culture of open/honest communication, transparency, and accountabilityWhat Were Looking ForAt least 7 years' experience leading system development programs with moderate complexity within a global multi-disciplined engineering environmentExperience managing technical projects ensuring all technical, commercial, contractual, and operational aspects are coveredExperience delivering STC retrofit and OEM line fit solutions to the commercial aviation industryFamiliar with equipment installation and maintenance practices for commercial airlinesKnowledge of VSAT, satellite, IP networks and telecom technology is desirableProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to achieve certification within 1 year of employment preferredProven ability to influence without authority and lead others in a highly matrixed environmentAbility to operate autonomously in an ambiguous, fast-paced environmentCompetent in the use of Microsoft Project, SharePoint, PowerBI, and other organizational tools as requiredThis Might Be the Right Place if You.
