    [What the role is]

    The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore's central bank and integrated financial regulator.

    As central bank, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through the conduct of monetary policy and close macroeconomic surveillance and analysis. It manages Singapore's exchange rate, official foreign reserves, and liquidity in the banking sector.

    [What you will be working on]

    The team's responsibility is to contribute towards the sustainable growth of the asset management industry, and to enhance Singapore's value proposition as a global funds centre for the co-location of fund management and domiciliation activities. The team will monitor global trends and developments in the industry to tap areas of growth in the sector, such as to support the enhancement of investment fund structures, such as the Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC) framework, to conceptualise and drive industry development projects, and to strengthen capabilities in the funds ecosystem.

    As part of team's developmental efforts, you will be tasked to support tax incentive and grants administration work. You will be in frequent contact with industry players to review tax incentive and grant applications, evaluate KPIs and handle exceptions. You are expected to have good communication and analytical skills. Experiences in the asset management industry will be an advantage.
