Senior Manager Silicon Photonics-MEMS R & D
Lumentum is an industry leader in photonics technology and is developing products based on the integration of micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) and Silicon photonics.
The senior manager of silicon photonics – MEMS R&D is a key leader working with a development team responsible for the design of silicon photonics chips for cloud and network applications especially for the rapidly growing AI market.+
Responsibilities
+- Develop, mentor and lead a team focused on SiPho-MEMs specific optical designs while working within the larger photonic integrated circuit (PIC) development team.
- Work collaboratively with wafer fabrication partners and packaging teams to ensure that chip solutions meet all constraints for target applications considering fabrication process capability and required manufacturing tolerances.
- A PhD in Engineering or Physicsand at least ten years of work experience in the field of integrated optics.
