**General Summary of Job Duties**
As a **Kitchen Steward** you will be responsible to make sure that all dishes, and cooking supplies are clean , and make sure that all areas surrounding are clean and well maintained.
**Essential Job Function and Duties**
Washing of all dishes cleared from the dining areas.
Washing of all heavy pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
You may also be dusting, sweeping, and mopping various kitchen areas.
Keeping an eye on the kitchen garbage emptying them as needed
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow team members, and vendors.
**Skills, Education and Other Requirements**
Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.
The ability to take and follow directions well.
The ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
