    Job Description:

    Supports Front Office trading desk. Responsible for trade capture and resolving trade discrepancies. Liaises between trading, trade support, sales, operations, and compliance. Participates in the introduction and UAT of new initiatives, systems, and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance controls. Handles ad hoc requests from the desk. Requires product knowledge of financial instruments relevant to the area supported.

    Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct support to traders on the floor
  • Responsible for trade capture and trade activity reporting
  • Advises traders of position adjustments and/or discrepancies. Reviews trade sheets/tickets
  • Tracks and verifies trades and checks accuracy of processed tradesRequirements:
  • Comfort speaking with clients, senior business heads, auditors, and regulators. Ability to handle client escalations delicately
  • Familiarity with documentation and other requirements (regulatory, credit, AML, static data needs) for trading various FICC products
  • Strong sense of urgency with ability to multi-task heavily
  • Familiarity with trade capture, client onboarding, and credit risk systems a plus
  • Expected to conduct BAU trade entry across all products and entities as needed by the business

    Desired Skills

  • 1+ years of trading floor or operations experience
  • Be a doer as well as a thinker and demonstrate an ability to drive projects / tasks to completion
  • Self-starter with outstanding problem solving skills. Excels at getting things done with minimal direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong operational processing and risk control skills including the ability to build well-controlled spreadsheets and source appropriate and meaningful data

  • Take personal responsibility for delivering high quality work and have a track record of outperformance and delivery
  • Be able to design and produce insightful regular reports and drive continuous improvement in these reports
