- Process payroll for all employees on a biweekly schedule
- Maintain employee and payroll records to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll taxes, social security, and other government-mandated reports
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, payroll procedures and policies
- Develop and maintain payroll procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to manage compliance
- Administer various employee-related benefit programs such as health insurance, FMLA, paid time off, employee recognitions, etc.
- Generate and distribute reports as required or requested.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding efforts, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Assist with creating a positive work environment by participating in various employee related activities and committees
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures
- Address employment-related inquiries from all parties, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing setting
- Solid knowledge of HR principles and regulations
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Able to communicate effectively written or orally with all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
