Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Office Manager to lead our guest services team and ensure a seamless, welcoming experience for all visitors. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk operations, manage guest relations, and coordinate with various departments to uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Your leadership will set the tone for exceptional customer service, creating a positive environment that encourages guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and friendliness at all times
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and promptness to enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, and direct calls appropriately
- Coordinate night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel management systems and reservation platforms for smooth operations
- Foster positive guest relations by providing personalized service and ensuring all guests feel valued and cared for
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management, hotel management, or front desk operations within a resort or hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of guest services, customer service principles, and hospitality standards
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable; bilingual skills will be considered an asset
- Experience with night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience working in a resort or similar hospitality environment is advantageous
