- Must hold an in-scope DoD Security Clearance
- Experience with data validation, cleansing, and enrichment techniques to improve the accuracy and completeness of data
- Ability to provide on-site support at MDA facilities
- Willing to periodically travel in support of test events
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, science, or other related field.
- Experience supporting the US Ballistic Missile Defense System
- Experience handling classified data

In anticipation of the contract award, we are seeking Data Scientists who will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) mission by serving as a data subject matter expert (SME) designing, developing, and optimizing data-driven solutions and applications.
In this role, you will perform data mining while also extending the organization's data with third-party sources of information when required. You will have the opportunity to enhance data collection procedures with information that is relevant for building analytic systems. This will include processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis. You will conduct ad-hoc analysis, present results in a clear manner, and create automated anomaly detection systems with constant tracking of their performance. You will have opportunities to understand machine learning (ML) techniques and algorithms, have experience with common data science toolkits, and gain knowledge of data visualization tools. To accomplish this, you will need to be proficient with query languages such as SQL and demonstrate applied statistical skills. This will include distributions, statistical testing, and regression.
