About the Job

This role involves delivering and collecting packages along designated suburban and rural routes, often using your personal vehicle. You will be working independently with minimal supervision, so it's essential to have excellent time management skills.

• You will deliver mail and packages to customers on designated routes
• You will collect mail from customers' homes or businesses

Requirements:

To be successful as an Assistant Rural Carrier, you must have the following skills:

• A valid driver’s license is required
  


• You should have reliable transportation
  


• The ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently
  


• Frequent walking, standing, sitting during shifts of varying lengths.
  
  e.g., overtime may require additional hours beyond regular shift periods.
  
  

pChildren under the age of 16 are not permitted when carrying out duties outside normal office hours. Regular attendance at work is mandatory except by reason of illness or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent against attending/being present at place ‘work’. .in accordance with organisational requirements.. ,please attend all scheduled training sessions,support staff whom enables us too bridge gaps between “regular” day-time operational activities involving daytime staffing,to resolve discrepancies which impacted performance outcomes..
