    Job Description

    QuinStreet is in search of a skilled, articulate, and well-organized Receptionist to carry out various tasks efficiently, professionally, and courteously. As the main point of contact for all office logistics, this individual will liaise with the building property management company, cleaning staff, and other support vendors. Additionally, they will greet visitors and inform the relevant parties being visited when necessary. This role reports to the Director of Administration & Real Estate.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in expanding the local office team in Foster City.
    • Perform administrative tasks such as welcoming clients and candidates, handling incoming and outgoing mail, shipping and receiving packages, making photocopies, faxing documents, and executing other clerical duties.
    • Arrange company meetings by booking facilities at local hotels and/or restaurants.
    • Maintain overall office cleanliness, as well as order kitchen and office supplies.
    • Organize lunch for company meetings.
    • Support staff with small projects.
    • Supervise the effective management of local vendors and contractors.
    • Act as the primary liaison between the company and building management, ensuring all facility needs are met.
    • Plan events including regular social gatherings and other external events.
    • Collaborate closely with the HR/People Operations team on local perks, benefits programs, new hire onboarding, and offboarding.
    • Coordinate all office relocations and renovations in Foster City.
    • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and Covid protocols.
    • Handle contract negotiations, property management relations, and local vendor management.
    • Carry out any other assigned duties.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • 1+ years of office-related experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
    • Ability to multitask and work with multiple deadlines under pressure.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Outstanding organizational abilities.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Reliable and responsible.
    • Proactive and personable.

    The expected salary range for this role is between $50,000 USD and $70,000 USD annually. Please note that this is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the company's compensation policies and the applicant's location. The position may also be eligible for performance bonuses, commissions, and equity in the form of restricted stock units. Additionally, standard employee benefits programs are available, including healthcare, retirement, paid time off, and other tax-reportable benefits.

    Flexibility for occasional travel to different offices or events is vital for fulfilling the responsibilities of this position. This may involve attending meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as collaborating with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may differ, candidates should be prepared for occasional travel as necessary to support business goals and nurture professional relationships.
