Job Description Job Description New opportunity for a Extrusion Engineer, supporting an R&D department This position will be responsible for designing and developing components for medical devices using plastics and polymers.

You will initiate and oversee projects for CPT components with preliminary concepts to release of product as well as be responsible for meeting customer specifications throughout the development and design of products & processes.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical input on defining project priorities and company product goalsIdentify and solve department, system-level problemsContribute technical expertise and direction to department engineers and other company business functionsAssume responsibility for interpreting data, organizing, executing, and coordinating project activitiesLead large scale or multiple engineering projects with a high degree of independenceProvide technical & strategic input on managing company intellectual property relevant to work areaQualifications:Bachelors Degree in Engineering with focus on plastic and polymers with 2-5 years of relevant experienceMust have experience with extrusion and or/moldingPlastics or Materials engineering experienceExperience in communication and working across teams/divisionsExperience using analytical skills and problem solvingWe encourage you to apply if you are looking to take your career to the next level Qualified applicants will be contacted upon resume review.
