Job summary
The American Cancer Society is working to end cancer as we know it for everyone. The Director Estate & Gift Planning builds cultivates and stewards relationships with planned giving prospects and donors as well as estate and financial planning professionals to secure and retain planned gifts that support the life saving work of the organization.This permanently remote position in Atlanta GA meets personally with prospects donors and professional advisors to share information about the American Cancer Society Inc.s (Society) planned giving program. It grows and manages a portfolio of qualified active prospects through various stages of moves management identification cultivation solicitation execution stewardship. Utilizes Salesforce to track qualify report prospect donor advisor contacts progression through stages of moves management acts collaboratively with major gift colleagues leverage opportunities expand blended gift proposals cultivate additional planned giving prospects remains current applicable tax law charitable trends knowledgeable about Societys lifesaving work cancer research patient support prevention detection treatment models behavior encourages collaboration Societ members consistent cultural beliefs values.
