- Must have Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Responsible for completing financial reports monthly/quarterly and annually to both Federal and State funders
- Responsible for ensuring cash receipts, disbursements and all corresponding documentation is signed, filed and in order
- Gathers information for annual audit
- Assists in maintaining the general ledger and chart of accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards and grant requirements
- Completes month end close process and runs associated printed and electronic reports
- Prepares monthly reconciliations on balance sheet accounts
- Assists with financial statement preparation
- Provides ad hoc reporting as needed
- Accounting Degree preferred will consider other Business Degrees with strong accounting experience
- Skilled with QuickBooks Online for Non-Profits Accounting Software
- 5+ year's experience as general ledger accountant and understands reporting according to GAAP
- Intermediate level computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Internet knowledge.
