    Job Overview

    Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver, where you will play a vital role in delivering goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive on the open road and enjoy the freedom of driving while ensuring timely deliveries. You will operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Your expertise in driving and freight management will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service.

    What you'll do

    • Safely operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
    • Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring proper handling of cargo.
    • Navigate assigned routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws.
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
    • Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or any issues encountered during transport.
    • Utilize manual transmission skills when necessary to enhance driving performance.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal delivery processes and customer satisfaction.

    Basic qualifications

    • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
    • Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on delivery driver roles.
    • Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Experience operating refrigerated trailers or tankers is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with forklift operation for loading and unloading tasks.
    • Previous experience with route driving in various geographical areas.
