Asset Management Technical Consultant

CleanSlate is adding an experienced Asset Management Technical Consultant to serve our many clients to ensure proper tracking and technical operation of their asset management platforms.

This position works directly with clients daily to perform activities including software installation, configuration, upgrade/patching, health checks and troubleshooting. This position will adhere to industry best practices and compliance.

This is a full-time salaried position located within a 90-mile radius of Carmel, IN with ability to travel up to 10% of time.

Job Summary
Provide technical expertise and support for asset management tools and software
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to IT asset management
Assist in the development and maintenance of asset management documentation, including policies, procedures, and user guides
Requirements

2+ years of experience with the following:
Proficiency in Windows Server Administration
Proficiency in General Linux/Unix Administration, Hypervisor and Virtual Machine Knowledge (VMware and Hyper-V)
Proficiency in Basic Networking Skills (IP Addressing, DNS, Firewalls, Ports)
Proficiency in Basic Storage Knowledge (TBs, Systems, Capacity)
Proficiency in Basic Cloud Architecture Knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
Proficiency in User Account Administration / Understanding of Credentials / Service Accounts / Local Accounts
Working knowledge in Application Installation knowledge and experience on Windows/Linux/Unix
Working knowledge in Command Line Interface and Scripting Knowledge (Shell Scripts, PowerShell, basic programming)
Excellent oral and written communication skills interacting with a variety of audiences
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with a team
Learning mindset – willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company
Ability to document procedures and processes
Basic understanding and execution of project management
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent professional experience
