- Is a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Is currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Georgia State Board of Nursing
- Has a least two year's general nursing experience, with current home care, medical, surgical, or critical experience.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health.
- Has presented a pre-employment physician's health clearance including a negative TB skin test, current First Aid & CPR certification and other tests as required by the Company's policy.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/ or Company requirements and is in good working order.
- Has excellent references from previous/current employers and/or professional peers.
- Has abilities to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Help with skills test and competency test as needed.

Delta Homecare is offering Contract Positions to RNs and LPNs to help conduct in home assesments, skilled nursing visits, ect for our elderly and/or disabled client in their homes.
We are currently offering sign on bonuses (certain requirements must be met) competitive pay rates, trip fee reimbursements, flexibility with schedules. This could be part time or full time. It is what YOU make it
What would you be Responsible for?
Delta currently has over 200 clients located all over the State of Georgia and Tennessee. What we do is see where you are located to see what clients are within a 30 mile radius of your location. We offer you a list of clients that would become your regular client list, you would be responsible for keeping all assessments, and and all visits up to date per State regulations. There is also more opporunity to earn other cash by accepting new client admission assessments(RN's ONLY). You can choose to keep the client on your list or to just to the admission.
Again this position is what you make it. You schedule visits with the clients according to your schedule and what the client will accept. You can choose to add more clients to your list or remove clients.
Below you will find some of the different kinds of Visits and Assessments there are, each client has different needs and assessments required. However, every client is required to have a Supervisory Assessment completed every 45 days.
Skilled visits- Intel's visiting and provide nursing care to patients at homes community and resident settings. Provide compassionate personalized nursing care services to patients. Provide and facilitate diagnostic procedures and other lab tests as permitted for patients. Assist and support patients in organizing their physical activities.
Supervisory visits- Monitoring patient care and doing nurse supervisory with caregivers by phone or in home visits as needed. Liaison between office, caregivers, and others.
Assessments, admissions- RN's only can do the admission process, consents, sign service agreements, and patient rights. Includes home assessment and the client's health assessment, medication reconciliation and create Careplans. Nursing assessments as needed. Insurance assessments.
