How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Regional Profitability Manager is responsible for all aspects of improving the customer experience and simultaneously maximizing profitability.
The dual goals will be attained via a combination of (a) identifying and eliminating activities and practices that negatively impact customer experience there by leading to customer churn, (b) developing and instituting pricing strategies and disciplines and (c) identifying and ultimately eliminating inefficiencies throughout all aspects of the regional company.
The Manager will work with all levels of the organization in creating a culture that is customer centric, strives for continuous improvement and willingly embraces advancements in technology.
The end goal of which is to create a loyal customer base, an energized, forward thinking work force and continuously improving financial metrics.
Assist with price initiatives to drive regional price benefit such as override monitoring, periodic price reviews, and ad hoc cost recovery exercises.
Extensive analysis of monthly P&L results; including determination of trends, finding cost reduction opportunities and monitoring and assisting in compliance with budget and cost efficiency programs.
Lead the development of new reporting metrics and tools, as well as transitioning existing ones to Power BIProvide support in various data analysis projects (by utilizing BW and/or SAP reporting tools to pull and manipulate large sets of data for various ad hoc projects)
Preparing post mortem reviews of larger customer relationships and/or large investments in assets dedicated to servicing specific customers. The goal of which is to ensure the company is realizing the expected level of return.
If it is not, then the Profitability Analyst will work with the Director and internal stakeholders to determine the best path forward to attain that stated level of profitability.
Work with all levels and aspects of the organization to understand and evaluate cost and investment structures. Work with the team to help maximize investments, synergies and efficiencies while negating or minimizing any impact on customer service________________________
Are you a MATCH?
Bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferred.
3+ years motivating, influencing and leading dynamic high performing teams.
Collaborative and strong ability to connect and influence multiple leadership levels, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Ability to work independently and proactively. Critical thinker and problem solver. Strong strategic planning/project management
Adaptive and entrepreneurial approach:
demonstrates flexibility, energy, and initiative in fast-paced, unpredictable, and matrix business environment
Strong proficiency in both Google application required - Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Forms, Google Drive, Meets and Hangouts
Experience with all internal systems and branch operations including SAP, Customer Portals, Oracle, and integrated reporting systems
Ability to communicate effectively on a regular cadence to senior executives on strategies, goals, and status.
Understanding of the North Division Branch Operations Dashboard and the critical metrics that impact the overall customer experience is preferred
Functional understanding of ERP systems and customer lifecycle management (account creation, sales transactions, collections)
Strong business aptitude, and expert knowledge of Customer Service in a decentralized retail distribution environment to anticipate a wide range of future needs and opportunities and facilitate development of complex solutions
Strong packaged gas industry experience is required
Excellent financial and analytical capabilities is required
SAP experience is preferred
