    Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases. Your duties will include conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients on respiratory care.

    Responsibilities:
    • Maintains and monitors the function of all respiratory care equipment in use, including CPAP and Bilevel devices, invasive and non-invasive ventilators, pulse oximetry and apnea monitoring devices, and portable oxygen concentrators.
    • Acts as a resource to other health care providers (referrals), regarding clinical issues.
    • Provides patient, family, or caregiver with education related to disease process, therapy orders, and equipment use and functions.
    • Completes patient assessments and reassessments. Coordinates patient care and services. Identifies non-compliant patients.
    • Understand and practice the rules regarding patient confidentiality, HIPPA and compliance, and safety. Adhere to all state and federally mandated standards regarding confidentiality and patient rights.
    • Perform other duties as required.
    Requirements

    Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years of experience in the Healthcare field, preferably in home care or durable medical equipment.
    • Must possess strong communication skills.
    • Must be organized and detail oriented.
    • Basic Math and Keyboard Proficiency. Functional skills on a PC.
    • High School Diploma or GED along with completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
    • Current licensure to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
    • Current Certification or Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care
    • Current CPR (BLS)
    • Valid state Driver's License (in state applicable)
    • Current licensure to practice in the State of Ohio (if applicable), Current licensure to practice in the State of West Virginia (if applicable), Current licensure to practice in the State of New York (if applicable).
