  • 1-Year Contract
  • Pay Rate: $46-$49 per hour (on W2), depending on experience
  • Hybrid: 890 Winter Street, Suite 300, Waltham, Massachusetts, 2451

At Enbridge, our goal is to be the first-choice energy delivery company in North America and beyond—for customers, communities, investors, regulators and policymakers, and employees.

To meet that goal, Enbridge is partnering with Raise—a leading recruitment firm that specializes in IT, Technical, and Engineering staffing.

Together, Raise and Enbridge are building teams that are rising to meet the growing energy needs of North America. If you're looking for a challenging role that will make the most of your skills while allowing you to make an impact, this is it.

Enbridge is hiring a Project Controls Coordinator right now—when you apply, Raise will review your application within 48 hours and contact qualified applicants for interviews.

Primary Focus:

  • A leading organization in the energy industry, specializing in crude and natural gas transportation and gathering—has an immediate need for a Project Controls Coordinator. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive Total Cost Control guidance, governance, and support to Project Managers and project team members across engineering, procurement, construction, project management, support groups, contingency, and escalation functions.
  • The position requires close collaboration with the project schedule control counterpart and active support in the implementation of all Project Controls processes and procedures, including Baselining, Change Management, Risk Assessments, Lifecycle Stage Gates, and Reporting.
  • Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Project Controls, Core Programs, this position supports a portfolio of maintenance projects. The successful candidate must effectively prioritize and manage support for 15 or more active projects, typically ranging from $300K to $10MM and spanning one to two years in duration.
  • The Cost Control function is responsible for establishing control budgets, executing project cost control activities, preparing forecasts, analyzing variance drivers, evaluating cost/schedule performance indices, supporting stage‑gate requirements, identifying project risks, and generating monthly, bi‑monthly, and quarterly reports for stakeholders ranging from project teams to senior executives and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide Project Managers and project teams in planning, tracking, measuring, forecasting, and reporting project costs.
  • Conduct monthly cost and cash-flow forecasting reviews with Project Managers and extended teams.
  • Provide accurate, timely cost‑control governance aligned with approved standards to manage AFE components, including:
  • External engineering services
  • Material and equipment procurement
  • Construction services
  • Internal costs
  • AFUDC
  • Contingency and escalation
  • Maintain cost and schedule planning, tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to identify, analyze, and report cost risks in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project reporting and identify inconsistencies or deviations from standard reporting requirements.
  • Support the project controls team in resolving data accuracy and delivery issues.
  • Engage in continuous communication with Project Managers and cost control staff to address project cost needs.
  • Participate in vendor and contractor meetings to stay informed on scope changes or project impacts.
  • Contribute to joint Cost, Schedule, and Risk Health Checks to confirm effective planning and cost control processes.
  • Lead and support project closeout activities, including final cost reconciliation and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 2–4 years of experience in cost and schedule management or project controls across multiple projects.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, and/or Power industries is preferred.
  • Completion of AACE Certified Cost Engineer (CCC/CCE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Oracle, EcoSys, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, OneDrive, and SharePoint for reporting and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to anticipate information needs and present findings clearly.
  • Experience developing, enhancing, and implementing cost and schedule standards and improving cost control tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) workflows.
  • Ability to prioritize a demanding workload and provide well‑developed recommendations.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively across dispersed teams.

Please note: Successful applicants will be employees of Raise, working at Enbridge facilities with both Enbridge and contract employees.
