The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse RN or physician in a healthcare long-term care or assisted living facility The LPN is responsible for monitoring patients health administering basic nursing care and ensuring that patients medical needs are met This role is essential in promoting the health comfort and well-being of residents by delivering high-quality nursing care in a compassionate and professional manner+

Responsibilities
- Patient Care Provide basic nursing care to residents including administering medications wound care assisting with personal hygiene Monitor residents vital signs such as temperature blood pressure pulse report any abnormalities to the supervising nurse or physician Assist with feeding dressing mobility ensuring residents comfort safety Follow individualized care plans provide appropriate resident-specific interventions according to their needs medical conditions.
- Medication Administration Administer medications as prescribed accurate documentation timely delivery Monitor adverse reactions report concerns to supervising nurse physician Maintain accurate records medication administration resident responses treatments.
