    • Resident Care Supervisor in Long term Care, delegate, communicate, and supervise CNAs and Nurses at the direction of the Director of Nursing.
    + Positive and productive team environment. Job Summary + The RN – Resident Care Supervisor is accountable for coordinating resident care from pre-admission to post discharge for residents on assigned neighborhoods of the facility. + Supervises nursing staff, coordinates the completion and submission of the MDS, and coordinates and develops residents/tenants plans of care. + Determines and coordinates Medicare eligibilities. + Demonstrates leadership to other staff members, coaches, assists in supervision and evaluation of nursing staff. + Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. + Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. Education and/or Experience + Associate's Degree is required. + Bachelor's Degree is preferred. + Experience in dealing with the public and clients is required. + Geriatric, medical or surgical experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration + Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota. + Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
