    Description

    NEEDED Skills

    • Experience with RFP and RFP Style Processes
    • Category experience with tire repair equipment, uniforms, landscaping services, and alarm services

    General Responsibilities

    • Directs and oversees the procurement of supplies, researching pricing trends and managing sourcing of tools, supplies and equipment.
    • Develops constructive relationships with suppliers, negotiating product quality, service level standards and costs.
    • Directs procurement staff, sets internal policy for conduct, managing activities, objectives and goals with the ultimate intent to have the organization meet company objectives.
    • Work with IT to identify system enhancements to support the procurement process, participate in R&D on projects and implementation of new programs.

    Preferred Skills

    • Apply critical thinking, problem solving, and reasoning abilities, when challenged with opportunities to improve efficiencies.
    • Leadership skills and experience managing teams.
    • Have a "roll up your sleeves" mentality, ability to adapt quickly and deliver exceptional results.
    • Professional communication skills, with the ability to communicate updates and opportunities with internal teams and store operations.
