    Description

    Director of Quality Assurance

    Location: Montgomery, AL (offering relocation)

    Day to Day:

    • Own and continually improve QMS/EMS driving enhanced and value added processes to support customer requirements, business needs, execution of company goals
    • Develop measurable Quality improvement plans and data analysis methods
    • Drive Key Performance Metrics continually improving Product/Process Quality
    • Owner of Quality and Environmental related regulatory, third party, and internal audits and certifications (AS9100, FAA, EASA, ADEM, etc.)
    • Lead preventive/corrective actions collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to remediate Quality issues and continually improve QMS/EMS
    • Single point of contact for DCMA, and all Quality concerns/issues
    • Lead Supplier, internal, and customer Quality improvement efforts
    • Employ APQP activities to further enhance DMAIC
    • Interact with all levels of the organization and effectively communicate with Executive Leadership
    • Develop Quality Department employees for future growth
    • Other duties as assigned

    Must Haves:

    • Bachelor's Degree in an a related Engineering field
    • 10 years Quality Management experience with 5 recent years in Aerospace/DoD
    • 5 years of AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management certification experience
    • Strong AS9100 and DoD standards understanding
    • Strong RCCA and Problem solving leadership
    • Proficient in interpreting technical documents
    • Strong APQP skills
    • Outstanding Facilitation and Organization Skills
    • Ability to analyze data/situations and draw relevant conclusions
    • Six Sigma experience
    • Ability to lead, direct, and develop others with effective Leadership that promotes transparency, urgency, extreme ownership mindset
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
