    Description
    Start your new career as a Lab Technician with MAU at our client in Covington, GA. As a Lab Technician, you will fully engage with our standards and become a technology expert. You will work directly with the timing of production and can be involved in multiple processes.

    What We're Looking For


    • High school diploma or GED + 2-year community college or equivalent, OR
    • Associate degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
    • 1+ year(s) of experience as a Quality Laboratory Technician
    • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, and Word
    • 1+ year(s) of experience in a controlled lab environment
    • Team player
    • Efficient communication skills
    What You'll Do as a Lab Technician


    • Report to the Facility Technical Manager
    • Support all safety and quality assurance for production on third shift
    • Act as the direct liaison between production and the quality of our products
    • Perform quality checks of raw materials, submit daily batch release reports
    • Enter all quality assurance test results while keeping up with production
    • Execute and adhere to all EHS requirements
    • Maintain a safe work environment, follow all internal safety rules and procedures, and wear proper PPE as appropriate
    • Participate in the general housekeeping of plant and work area
    • Submit daily routine batch release report and immediately notify all affected personnel of any rejected batch/lot number prior to shipping to customer
    • Volunteer to help where needed to get the job done and enhance skills
    • Work with some direction and supervision of Sr. Lab Technicians and the Facility Technical Manager
    • Communicate all critical issues and problems concerning, QA, test equipment problems, schedule changes, and assignments to the Facility Technical Manager
    • Perform other tasks as assigned
