    Job Posting: School Math Teacher (Contract Position) - Independence, OR

    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in the field, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

    Location: Independence, OR

    Job Type: Contract

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement engaging math curriculum aligned with state standards.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student growth and development.
    • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
    • Utilize effective instructional strategies and technology to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
    • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and stakeholders to support student achievement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Valid teaching license/certification in the state of Oregon.
    • Minimum of one year of recent experience teaching math at the secondary level.
    • Strong content knowledge in math concepts and instructional best practices.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
