As a member of the Material, Processes, and Technology team supporting Aeronautics Production Control, the primary responsibilities will include the identification and execution of continues improvement projects for the material flow team.

As well as the creation to final implementation of capital and non-capitalprojects.

Through cross functional collaboration and process observations you will identify opportunities for the implementation of technology solutions to optimize material flow, improve part presentation and protection, reduce waste, and modernize production control processes.

This will be accomplished by monitoring kit call reports to ensure the proper timing, staging, and delivery of parts to the production floor.

Research and analysis of potential technological solutions to improve warehouse and production floor efficiency. These solutions include design and implementation of conveyances and shadow boxes. Developing processes and procedures to reduce waste. Identifying automated solutions for part storage, stocking, picking, and delivery. You will also develop plans, gain approval, pilot potential solutions, analysis data, and make recommendations for implementation.
