JSG is hiring a Production Engineer for a cement plant in the Bakersfield, CA area. This position is responsible for optimizing the production processes, while fortifying product quality and managing resources. This is a hybrid role with process and production, and has supervisory responsibilities overseeing 10 workers.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and resolving plant related equipment issues.
• Control room supervision, monitoring, via video, plant function and responsible for entering and retrieving information for plant equipment, clearing alarms, set points and equipment control.
• Responsible for resolving issues concerning mobile equipment, elevators, blowers, kilns.
• Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering.
• 2 -5 years experience in production or engineering in the cement or construction materials industry.

Base salary range is $80K to $100K DOE.
