    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    Provide supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff on clinical patient issues. Directs patient care using a case management model. Assures adherence to agency policies and procedures.
    Dedicates 10% of his/her overall responsibilities to the Quality Management Committee.

    The Regional Nurse Manager is an active participant of the committee; responsible for the organization's Infection Control and Prevention program and tracking of Hand Hygiene and Influenza Vaccination.

    Evaluates data and reviews progress based on results.
    Exhibits and maintains knowledge of Infusion nursing, pharmacy services, payment practices and overall understanding of infusion business.
    Ensures that all physicians' orders are current and being followed precisely by nursing staff.
    Promotes infusions related home nursing referrals in the home care community.
    Provides care as defined within the scope of the state's nurse practice act.
    Assists in the development of organization goals. Develops, recommends, and administers agency policies and procedures.
    Supervises, educates, and coaches other nursing personnel.
    Plans and implements in-service and training programs.
    Serves as active participant of Performance Improvement Committee.
    Oversees proper maintenance of clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting organization activities.
    Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
    Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel.

    Serves and protects the Pharmacy by adhering to professional standards, company policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and URAC/TJC/ACHC standard of care.

    Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing.


    Physical Demands:


    Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.
