    Veres Career Consulting is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and bilingual (English/Spanish)

    HR Director

    to join a successful and rapidly growing Commercial Insurance Company based in San Diego.

    This is an exciting opportunity to lead the HR function for our esteemed client and contribute to their ongoing success.


    About the Role:
    As an HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's HR strategy.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and compliance with state and federal regulations.


    What You'll Be Doing:
    Create and oversee HR policies and practices across the organization.
    Lead retention strategies and succession planning initiatives.
    Direct training programs for employee development.
    Oversee employee relations initiatives for a positive work environment.
    Collaborate with senior management on HR strategies.
    Provide leadership and support to the HR team.


    Whats Required of You:
    Minimum 7 years of HR experience, with 5 years in a supervisory role
    Proven track record in spearheading organizational change while adeptly managing priorities
    Extensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal mandates, with a focus on California regulations
    Showcased proficiency in steering HR strategies to ensure organizational success
    Familiarity with HR metrics and PEO platforms such as ADP Workforce or TriNet
    Proficiency in HR metrics and project management
    Excellent communication and presentation skills in English AND Spanish.
    Bachelors degree in HR, BBA, Communication, or related field
    Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
    Familiarity with COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and related state/federal regulations.
    Ability to handle confidential information with integrity


    What Youll Get:
    Competitive base salary of $110K-$130K annually, based on experience and qualifications
    Full-time role with hybrid setup: 3 days/ week at the office
