    Cantina is an exclusive, members-only place where humans and bots come to play It's the first place where members can create, explore, and interact with personality-driven AI bots in a group setting.

    We are seeking energetic and outgoing candidates to join our team as Community Leads for a revolutionary live AI social app. As a Community Lead, you will be the face of our app, engaging with users in live chat rooms and helping build a vibrant and inclusive community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge platform that combines AI chat bots with friends, catering to the Gen Z demographic and tapping into the new world of social technology. This is a fully remote role supporting the first social AI platform.

    Ideal candidates are passionate and tech-savvy individuals who are excited about AI technology and have a strong interest in building social communities. As a Community Lead, you will be at the forefront of our innovative live social app, engaging with users and fostering connections within the AI internet culture. This role is ideal for individuals who belong to a social community and are considered leaders within them on platforms like Reddit, Discord, TikTok, or other online or offline groups.

    We are seeking people from all over the world to support our rapidly-scaling app and be available to interact and engage with users during peak app usage hours. This contract position can range from 20-40 hours per week with compensation at $20/hour. We will not supply cell phones or laptops, so you must be able to provide your own devices.

    Weekend hours are imperative, Saturday'sand Sunday's 12pm-8pm and/or 5pm-12am PT. Weekday shifts are more flexible, 12pm-8pm or 3pm-10pm PT.

    What you'll do:

    Engage with Cantina Members: Serve as the primary point of contact for users within the app's chat rooms. Use your natural charisma and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful conversations and create a positive and inclusive environment. Educate and onboard users on how to best utilize the app and build AI bots in Cantina.

    Build Community: Actively contribute to the growth and development of our user community. Encourage participation, foster connections between users, and help facilitate user-generated content that aligns with the app's values and objectives in public rooms.

    Promote Brand Awareness: Generate excitement and buzz around the app by sharing your own experiences and stories on other social media platforms. Collaborate with our marketing team to create engaging conversations to attract those interested in social AI.

    Source Feedback: Serve as a valuable source of feedback by reporting user concerns, identifying opportunities for improvement, and sharing insights on user preferences, trends, and interests. Your input will help shape the app's future features and enhancements.

    Moderate and Host Cantina-run Spaces: Provide conflict resolution and ensure users follow community guidelines while hosting official Cantina rooms and curating in-room events. Your support will help foster a positive environment and set a respectful tone with one another.

    Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, popular culture, and social media influencers relevant to our target demographic. This will allow you to effectively engage with users and inform our product.

    What you'll bring to the table:

    • Strong desire to foster a sense of community and build meaningful connections among users. Experience in cultivating and managing communities, either online or offline, is a plus.
    • Genuine interest and curiosity in new social trends and emerging technologies, including AI
    • Strong knowledge of social communities within platforms like Reddit, Discord, TikTok,etc.
    • You already consider yourself a leader in an existing online community or on campus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
    • Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to engage users, drive community growth, and address challenges that may arise.
