Client Account Analyst

to work closely with firm attorneys to develop and manage collection programs for their clients.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for...
Managing collection of assigned client accounts and assisting in developing and implementing collection strategies to achieve established targeted average time for collection
Monitoring past due accounts receivable over established guidelines while working with responsible parties to recommend and implement appropriate actions to bring accounts to current status
Reconciling client A/R balances to ensure necessary adjustments are made to client invoices
Negotiating revised payment arrangements/agreement with clients as needed
Providing monthly reports on collection status
The successful candidate will demonstrate...
Minimum of three years accounting and finance experience; collection analysis and law firm experience a plus
Thorough understanding of accounts receivable and collection policies, procedures and controls
Experience using current Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office applications (including advanced Excel and Outlook) and an enterprise accounting system; Aderant a plus
Ability to perform analysis of cash collection system to make recommendations for improvements and develop plans for collecting on delinquent accounts
Strong focus on client service and responsiveness
