This role combines technical expertise with strategic sales execution requiring an understanding of mechanical systems customer needs and project-driven solutions
Sales and Business Development
Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities within the commercial institutional and industrial HVAC markets Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close including qualification proposal development and negotiation Collaborate with estimating engineering operations teams to develop accurate proposals scope documents Maintain expand relationships with existing customers ensuring high levels of satisfaction retention Conduct regular client visits presentations technical discussions promote HVAC system solutions service offerings Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas annual revenue goals Technical Understanding Application Provide technical guidance on commercial HVAC systems including chillers boilers air handling units VRF systems controls energy efficiency solutions Interpret engineering drawings mechanical schedules specifications develop project estimates recommendations Assist clients internal teams identifying appropriate design-build retrofit service solutions Stay current industry trends technologies building code impacting mechanical systems Support project turnover meetings ensure alignment between sales commitments operations execution CRM Administrative Management Utilize CRM platforms e.g Salesforce manage pipeline activity forecast revenue track customer interactions Prepare deliver weekly monthly reports management Participate sales meetings strategy sessions joint calls
