    Summary:
    The Cloud Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance on large Hadoop cloud clusters

    Job Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics is highly desired and will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience.

    Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is desired.

    The following Certifications will be accepted: CDP Administrator - Private Cloud Base, Eleastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Observability Engineer, Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS"), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional.

    Active DoD TS//SCI Security Clearance with poly required

    Desired:
    Any of the following: Apache's Hadoop and Accumulo, CASSANDRA, SCALITY or SWIFT, SSH tunneling, SOCKS proxies, rysn, pdsh, pdcp, WinSCP, Linux PXE/Network provisioning, Anaconda Kickstart configurations, RAID, TFTP, open SSL, Java keystore manipulation, SGI/HP hardware including SGI's J series, haproxy, nginx experience with Kubernetes, Docker images, ElasticSearch, logstatsh, filebeats, Grafana, rsylog
    Cloud Software Engineer, Entry Level A Bachelor's degree in a desired discipline will satisfy the years of experience required.

    Able to work within a pre-defined mission focused team structure, follow Standard Operating Procedure's (SOP's), communicate effectively, accept constructive feedback and receive technical guidance and advice from senior level technical resources.

    Two (2) years' experience writing software scripts using scripting languages including bash, perl, or python.

    Three (3) years' experience demonstrating a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of core components of the Linux operation system including the management of user and group accounts in LDAP configuration of DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.

    Experience with configuration management tools including Puppet and SALT

    Cloud Software Engineer, Jr:
    One (1) year of experience is required.
    One (1) year of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters (>1000 nodes).

    Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting large scale cloud computing systems including familiarity with distributed systems for storage and retrieval of data e.

    Apache's Hadoop, Accumulo, CASSANDRA distributed databases, or SCALITY or SWIFT object stores.
    Three (3) years' experience writing software scripts using scripting languages including bash, perl, or python.

    Five (5) years' experience demonstrating a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of core components of the Linux operating system including the management of user and group accounts in LDAP configuration of DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.

    Experience with configuration management tools including Puppet and SALT
    End to end Linux PXE/Network provisioning process to include familiarity with Anaconda Kickstart configurations, RAID controller utilities, TFTP images, and disk detect scripts

    Cloud Software Engineer, Mid:
    Three (3) years' experience is required.
    Five (5) years' experience writing software scripts using scripting languages including bash, perl, or python.

    Seven (7) years' experience demonstrating a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of core components of the Linux operating system including the management of user and group accounts in LDAP configuration of DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
