Insight Global is seeking an experienced and dynamic Applications Engineering Manager to lead our technical team in Verona, Virginia.

As an Applications Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and support of our gearbox and rotary products.

Your expertise in mechanical engineering, AGMA failure modes, and internal gearing applications will be essential for this role.

They will be overseeing the engineering team while ensuring projects remain on schedule, backlog ques are running smoothly, coordinating with the internal team regarding production and projects, and traveling to customer sites.

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

10 years of technical experience with either gearboxes or rotary equipment that performs at around 1800RPMs.

5 years of managerial experience overseeing a team between 5-10.

Experience in a customer facing role

10-20% of their time will be spent traveling to customer sites and other company facilities.

Must have a strong understanding of AGMA failure modes and be able to clearly communicate solutions.
