Description

• Direct and manage contracts which support the ESH organization, including hazardous waste management and disposal, environmental assessments, permitting, and emergency response activities.
• Ensure compliance to US EPA TSCA 5(e) regulations for the commercialization of new chemicals.
• Manage safety testing of new chemicals through international regulatory processes.
• Manage sites safety committee and its safety-related approvals, investigations, and initiatives.
• Promote ESH culture by driving various ESH performance improvement initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Build effective relationships and trust with key stakeholders and business partners to drive program enhancements and support the development and reporting of metrics and performance data.
• Manage the sites ESH management system elements and support development and reporting of metrics and performance data.
• Assure compliance with applicable ESH regulatory, corporate, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate implementation of Client and Corporate ESH assessment and recordkeeping programs.
• Support emergency and response operations through assistance and oversight to staff during response activities, driving post-incident investigation and corrective action activities, and as a member of the Emergency Operations Command team.
• Support management of the ESH organizations expense and capital budgets.
• Coordinate with other Client locations and represent the facility in working groups or new initiatives.
• Work independently and as part of a functional team to resolve issues.
• Support review of existing process and facilities to identify EHS issues.
