    Description

    Position Summary The Total Performance Management (TPM) Lead will be a key resource in our TPM journey by actively assisting with different pillar activities.

    The TPM Lead role will coordinate and support the creation of factory documentation and standards, training, and capability building of factory personnel and the application of TPM pillar tools to reduce losses.

    Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate and build documentation and standards to be used by production, maintenance and support departments, supporting the following initiatives:
    Improve operator skills to operate and maintain equipment, Create ownership and empower teams
    Provides the capabilities to drive ZERO breakdowns and REDUCE total maintenance costs through effective, efficient and reliable operations
    Identify the losses, prioritize the improvements, develop problem solving tools, make improvements
    Improve skills of all employees, improve training efficiency, organizational structure and team effectiveness.
    Eliminate quality effectiveness and efficiency losses
    Build Safety awareness.
    Effective planning to meet customer needs & business objectives
    Produce quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
    Support the preparation of training material (standard operating procedures, one point lessons, presentations, worksheets, etc.) with subject matter experts
    Coordinate the technical training program with department leaders and supervisors through the usage of a skills matrix methodology
    Work with department leaders to determine course content according to objectives
    Co-facilitate training sessions in groups or individually with subject matter experts
    Provide appropriate record keeping on training sessions
    Provide administrative support for TPM activities such as visual tools and templates for natural work teams, pillar tool owners and pillar leaders
    Analyze workflow, cycle time and process bottlenecks and initiate improvement projects
    Analyze process data of manufacturing labor, materials, process times, etc. to validate data models
    Optimize production work documentation as needed and ensure employees are trained and properly Drive projects to increase productivity, improve quality, reduce waste and support cost savings initiatives Use analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data, and create detailed reports and presentations Other duties as assigned

    Position Qualifications
    Good written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English and Spanish
    Working knowledge in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
    Planning and time management skills
    Ability to multitask and prioritize work
    Discretion and confidentiality
    People skills with ability to influence
    Technical skills and knowledge of equipment within a food factory
    Facilitation skills, creation of standards and documents with subject matter experts
    1 -2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
    TPM experience a plus
    A desire to lead groups, drive results, and challenge the status quo.
